Key milestones: A journey through our history

2000

Jamie Freundlich sells his company to TMP Worldwide, an S&P 500 global powerhouse, and starts his association with Monster.com, also owned by TMP.

2001

Doug Jackson sells his company to Monster.com and meets Jamie, marking the beginning of the partnership that will later evolve into BOLD.

2005

Drawing on their expertise with large platforms, Doug and Jamie establish LiveCareer and launch the first free, scientifically validated career test online, helping people reveal their ideal profession.

2010

LiveCareer releases its first resume builder, quickly becoming the job seeker’s gold standard. The product wins multiple awards.

2013

LiveCareer launches its first international portals in the UK, France, Spain, and Italy.

2015

LiveCareer transforms into BOLD, broadening its focus beyond career documents. BOLD adopts a new vision: “We transform work lives” and establishes its corporate headquarters in Puerto Rico.

2019

BOLD acquires Zety (Interview.me) and establishes an office in Warsaw, Poland.

2023

BOLD hires its 1,000th employee and acquires FlexJobs, the largest job search site for remote work.
