In this role, you’ll be responsible for vetting companies, verifying job postings, and ensuring only high-quality, flexible opportunities are published for our users. Ideal candidates will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.

ABOUT THIS TEAM

As a Job Associate at FlexJobs, you’ll play a key role on the front lines of our Jobs Team, helping connect job seekers with high-quality, flexible, and legitimate employment opportunities. A core part of the position is thoroughly vetting companies to confirm their legitimacy and ensuring their job postings are current and active. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, focus, and a deep understanding of what makes a job opportunity valuable to our users.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Vet and onboard new companies by verifying their legitimacy and ensuring they meet FlexJobs’ quality standards.
  • Review company career pages to research and verify current job openings, confirming their validity and determining their eligibility for queueing.
  • Queue high-quality job postings for publication.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail ensuring each queued job meets our rigorous quality standards.
  • Engage in open communication with team members to gain understanding, ask questions, and seek clarification on companies and job postings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Patience for routine and repetitive work.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced, detail-focused environment.
  • Demonstrate strong critical thinking skills, including the ability to analyze information objectively, and make independent decisions.
  • Comfortable adapting to changes in processes or strategy, based on the needs of the business.
  • Experience working in a remote or distributed team, with openness to share ideas and support peers.
  • Must have reliable high-speed Internet access.
  • Availability to work a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.

Salary & Eligibility

Starting hourly pay

$16$19 USD
