Content Writer I
We are looking for a Content Writer I to join our Content team. This role is involved in writing web page content to increase organic search engine rankings for our BOLD websites. As an integral part of our Content team, they will have an impact on developing an ongoing organic inbound traffic strategy by writing and optimizing keyword-rich SEO copy that matches the tone, voice, and culture, making a meaningful impact on the lives of job seekers.
This position is 100% remote, work from home.

ABOUT THIS TEAM
The Content team’s main responsibility is writing digital marketing content across BOLD brands. Using the power of words, we create SEO optimized content that tells brand stories, that build relationships with professionals around the world. From UX marketing copy to long-form articles, the Content team provides readers with support across the career spectrum ensuring a successful experience.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Work with the Content Team to develop high-quality, unique, and engaging content for a head term, category, job title, and specialty pages to improve search engine rankings
- Work with your team lead on the prioritization of daily and weekly writing assignments
- Frequently review content strategies, goals, and industry updates provided by your manager
- Write keyword-rich SEO copy for our BOLD properties using appropriate keywords, clarity, style, and tone to increase organic inbound traffic as well as conversions
- Perform timely and thorough keyword research using various search and analytics tools
- Conduct internet research for the target market on various topics related to writing assignments and optimization efforts
- Review/copy edit submissions for grammar, spelling, syntax, etc.
- Perform related work and additional duties as needed or required
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing or a related field
- 2+ years of experience as a professional content writer
- SEO skills and experience
- Excellent English sales copy writing skills
- Experience in optimized copywriting and editing
- Knowledge of online writing best practices
- Ability to meet and manage multiple deadlines
WHAT’S GOOD TO HAVE
- Proficiency in WordPress, Photoshop and content management software (e.g., Contently, Jira and WordPress)
- Copywriting experience, including an ability to craft email, social media and landing page copy
- Career services and hiring industry expertise
- Familiarity with the tools of online marketing and the metrics used to evaluate digital content’s success
- Certified Professional Resume Writer certification is a huge plus: NCRW or CPRW
