What you'll do
- Define and implement the overall marketing automation strategy to support acquisition, retention, upsell, and re-engagement goals. Identify and segment target audiences for personalized, relevant, and timely communications
- Maintain a robust content calendar for campaigns, ensuring a mix of promotional, educational, and engagement-focused content. Ensure all email content reflects the brand’s tone guidelines, values, campaign objectives and messaging framework
- Map the entire customer lifecycle and identify where email fits into each stage (e.g., awareness, consideration, retention, advocacy). Develop dedicated nurture sequences for new leads, existing customers, and high-value segments, addressing their specific needs at each stage
- Leverage customer data to create dynamic content tailored to recipients’ preferences, behaviors, and demographics. Use advanced techniques like predictive recommendations, location-based offers, and past purchase-driven messaging
- Actively contribute to a collaborative and innovative team culture that drives excellence and accountability
- Ensure the email program can handle rapid growth in subscribers or campaign volume without degradation in quality or effectiveness
- Oversee the setup, execution, and optimization of automated marketing campaigns, ensuring flawless execution and delivery. Ensure campaigns are deployed with 100% accuracy in terms of targeting, content, and timing
- Collaborate with the content, creative, and analytics teams to develop engaging and effective email templates, landing pages, and workflows
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, sales, and customer success, to ensure alignment and maximize impact
- Leverage analytics to identify trends, uncover insights, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization
What you'll need
- Experience: 12+ years in marketing automation, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, ideally within a B2C or high-growth environment
- Deep knowledge of marketing automation platforms (e.g., Iterable, Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot, constant contact, Brevo) and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, CDP, etc...)
- Proven ability to design and execute multi-channel customer engagement strategies that deliver measurable business outcomes
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations
- Experience building, managing, and mentoring high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels

Starting Pay Range
PAY TRANSPARENCY
Individual pay is based on location, transferable skills, experience, and other relevant factors. This estimated range is based on the best available market data and factors, all of which are subject to change. This position may also be eligible for a bonus and medical, dental, vision, life, short and long-term disability insurance, 401(k), paid time off, sick leave, and paid holidays, all subject to applicable plan terms.
