BOLD is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Lifecycle Engagement! As the Head of Lifecycle Engagement, you’ll be the voice behind our job search experience for customers. You’ll lead a talented team and build world-class lifecycle programs that boost engagement, increase retention, and maximize LTV — all while leveraging our cutting-edge job-seeking tools.

About this team

This is a high-impact role that works with our global teams to develop creative, data-driven strategies and campaigns that guide customers through the key touchpoints of their career journey.  You’ll own the end-to-end strategy and execution for multi-channel campaigns (email, SMS, web notifications, and beyond), and be a master at turning insights into impact.

What you'll do

  • Drive a product engagement strategy for job seekers coming with different primary needs
  • Define and execute a strategy that engages and converts customers throughout the journey, from awareness to retention
  • End-to-end lifecycle marketing - leveraging our products and optimal communication strategy and cadence to drive conversion, retention and useful engagement
  • Crisp judgement of messaging, tone, value propositions to drive the right engagement with potential and current customers
  • Set clear KPIs and goals for the team to drive executional excellence 
  • Analyze and optimize campaigns based on A/B testing, performance data, and insights
  • Partner with product, engineering, and other marketing teams to ensure a seamless message across the customer journey
  • Execute and manage partnerships that involve newsletters, advertising 
  • Leverage user behavior data to explore customized messaging
  • Lead a team of marketing automation professionals to ensure successful outcomes and efficient workflows

What you'll need

  • Experience: 10+ years in marketing automation, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, ideally within a B2C or high-growth environment
  • Experience in the jobs industry is a strong plus. Experience in any industry which requires updating customers via alerts is a plus
  • Deep knowledge of marketing automation platforms (e.g., Iterable, Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot, constant contact, Brevo) and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, CDP, etc…)
  • Experience with all channels - email, SMS, web notifications etc.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience

What's good to have

  • Experience within the internet consumer industry or B2C is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with teams remotely

Salary & Eligibility

Starting pay range

$145,000$185,000 USD

Pay Transparency

Individual pay is based on location, transferable skills, experience, and other relevant factors. This estimated range is based on the best available market data and factors, all of which are subject to change. This position may also be eligible for a bonus and medical, dental, vision, life, short and long-term disability insurance, 401(k), paid time off, sick leave, and paid holidays, all subject to applicable plan terms.
