Lead, Content INT (maternity leave cover)
We are looking for a Lead, Content to join the Content team at BOLD. In this role, you will lead an in-house team of ~4 Content Writers plus 2+ freelancers, and directly impact the growth of our organic audience on 10+ SEO portals. Our current portfolio spans several websites in English and multiple international SEO properties in non-English languages. Additionally, this role will work closely with teams located in Poland, the United States, Puerto Rico, and India.

ABOUT THIS TEAM
We are part of the Content & SEO team in which together with all SEO PMs, SEO ops and Technical SEO team we do our best to attract job seekers with the valuable articles that rank high in search engine results page. We build organic traffic and sales with SEO so effectively that SEO is our main and leading channel for traffic acquisition and conversion! Soft skills such as light pen and copywriting are only 50% of our energy. The other 50% is the ability to analyze large amounts of data and make quick and accurate decisions.
How do we work?
- Execute and develop the global SEO strategy of our portals and products.
- Collaborate on quarterly plans and long-term SEO strategy with the Director, Content & SEO, as well as other Marketing and Business leaders.
- Work closely with partner teams such as Product, Design/UX, SEO PMs, SEO Ops, Engineering, Digital PR, and Customer Support, to plan, organize and manage cross-team collaboration & shared projects aimed at maximizing business growth.
- Create and optimize SEO, UX, content of our portals and products.
- Monitor SEO performance and constantly look for opportunities to scale organic traffic and sales.
- Own our SEO traffic and revenue goals.
- Each quarter, set team and individual OKRTs, to grow our SEO performance and track progress against monthly goals and the yearly budget.
- Every 6 months, during the performance review, discuss the two previous quarters and evaluate not only our work but also the work of our leaders.
Technologies/tools we use:
- Cloud SEO apps such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, and/or others
- Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Looker Studio (Previously Google Data Studio)
- Google Sheets
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS
- Knowledge of AI powered tools such as ChatGPT or Jasper AI
- Google Workspace, Meets, Zoom, Slack

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Fine-tune your management skills by running a ~4 FTE team of content writers for several sites and regions.
- Manage team performance through daily standups, sprint planning sessions, regular 1-on-1s, and quarterly reviews.
- Grow your own skills and help your team grow their skill set by learning, fine-tuning, and iterating on content created for multiple sites, brands, and locales.
- Collaborate with the SEO team to prioritize short and long-term projects to grow traffic and sales across a portfolio of sites.
- Collaborate on quarterly plans and long-term SEO strategy with the Director, Content & SEO, as well as other Marketing and Business leaders.
- Execute a tried and tested SEO content strategy to grow traffic and sales.
- Providing feedback to writers in the form of suggestions, edits, and assuring current best practices are adhered to.
- Learn new skills, techniques, and best practices to then share with the team.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- SEO, content, or marketing experience.
- Mastery of French with strong English communication skills.
- Process/project management experience (Experience with Scrum methodology, Jira, etc.).
- People management experience.
WHAT’S GOOD TO HAVE
- Knowledge of another language (German or Italian).
- Editing experience.

SALARY & ELIGIBILITY
COMPENSATION
- Salary range for this position:
- Employment Agreement: 11500 - 14000 PLN gross (Umowa o Pracę)
LOCATION
This position is 100% remote, work from home. You must live in Poland or be willing to relocate to Poland to be considered for this role.
