ABOUT THIS TEAM
- We have built a team of 7 testers who take great care of the quality of our products. As the groundwork is done, we're looking for a QA Tech Lead who will conduct our team and act as a facilitator between the team and other departments of the company. We are counting on the new lead to drive our technical skills into interesting career paths and to share knowledge with us, especially in the field of test automation.

Our app development cycle consists of:
- The product team translates the business requirements, makes hypotheses on how the development should advance.
- The design team prepares UI/UX, delivers visual mockups via Figma.
- Tasks are refined and polished during bi-weekly meetings, finally, get introduced to the upcoming sprint.
- The developers team takes the lead, implements the feature, reviews the code, and introduces it to the testing environment.
- The QA team tests the new feature, cross-reference with the business requirements.
- The app is deployed, changes along with the others are delivered on production.
- The QA team performs regression tests on the production environment.
How do we work?
- Our points of reference are Jira and OKRTs (Objectives, Key Results, Tasks), which we plan every quarter for our team and individually.
- We have regular meetings where we talk about progress, plans, and development opportunities - this is the time for you!
- Every 6 months, during the performance review, we discuss the two previous quarters. We have the opportunity to evaluate not only our work but also the work of our leader.
Technologies/tools we use:
- Manual: TestRail, JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket
- Automation: Playwright with Typescript (some legacy Selenium WebDriver - Python, actively migrated to our current stack)
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Leading the QA team with a focus on implementing and running many automated tests.
- Proactively participating in the conducting of web tests. (up to 50% testing)
- Taking an active part in setting priorities for the whole development in Poland.
- Development of team members, providing them with an environment to learn, work and grow.
- Cooperating with development and product teams.
- Planning testing activities (sprints and long-term plans).
- Working to improve the process and efficiency of the entire QA team.
- Taking care of the efficiency of testing pipelines, supporting the forecasting scope of testing activities in the short and long term.
- Delivery management.
- Participate in your team’s daily tasks also as a part of the testing effort.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Excellent working knowledge of test automation and manual testing. Ideally, you should have a minimum of 4 years in testing, mainly in the area of automation. (For automation, we use Playwright in Typescript).
- Minimum 1 year of practice as a Team or Tech Leader (preferred in mixed manual and automation teams, diversified by seniority).
- Strong skills in team management, establishing career paths, time estimation, and priority planning.
- Experience and knowledge in testing methodologies.
- Very good English and Polish language skills.
- Knowledge of Jira, GIT, and Confluence.
- Experience in any test management tool (preferably TestRail).
- Focusing on problem-solving and constant improvements.
- Open mind for feedback and ability to admit failures/mistakes.
- Organized and experienced in handling various stakeholders interests.
- Outcome-oriented mindset (not output).

- Background in web application testing.

- Salary range: 17000 - 20000 PLN gross (Employment agreement / Umowa o Pracę) or 20400 - 24000 PLN net + VAT (B2B contract)
