Job description:
Role:
Lead the development and preservation of the Employer Brand creative direction, including imagery mood, video, music & motion graphics direction, graphic design & layout direction, as well as color pallet, logo and font use.
Create employer brand creative content including job ad design and layout, CRM template design, employer brand communications materials, employer brand photo shoots and editing as well as design layout for digital & social recruiting properties.
Acting in-house graphic designer for employer brand activation, working with our Talent Acquisition Leaders, to develop materials that bring to life our Employer Value Proposition, targeting internal and external audiences
Responsibilities:
- Ideate and design a broad range of employer brand communication and internal and external talent attraction (recruitment advertising) creative.
- Collaborate with various internal stakeholders to efficiently and accurately translate project needs into functional design and to ensure our creative is in alignment with our Brand Design and Employer Brand standards. These groups include, but are not limited to, Brand Design, Global Communications, Employer Brand lead, Digital Recruitment Lead and our Talent Acquisition team members.
- Determine design approach and appropriate media, implement established Employer Brand and Brand Design standards, and effectively communicate to internal stakeholders and the Talent Acquisition Leadership team.
- Produce final art and electronic pre-press files leveraging advanced skills in publication design software.
- Maintain creative within our Elevate toolkit (our talent acquisition file sharing toolkit). Upload and update creative as well as provide uncomplicated instructions for using the files.
- Act as a trend-spotter for modern design thinking, innovations in marketing communications and design technologies.
- Assist with ideation, concept development and employer branding strategy.
- Create, communicate and present design concepts to Recruitment Leads
- Develop and integrate knowledge of candidate trends and recruitment marketing/employer branding trends.
- Leverage an iterative design process of prototyping, testing and analyzing while staying focused on the end delivery dates and budget.
- You will develop and maintain relationships with internal clients, agency partners, and design consultants.
Required Skills:
- Proven ability to solve complex communications problems through the application of design skills e.g. ideation, typography, layout, color theory, contrast, spatial, visual presentation/speaking skills.
- Basic understanding of web design including HTML and CSS, as well as web design standards.
- Good understanding of photography and video production and managing photographers and production teams. Preferably you have direct photography skills.
- Strong project management and iterative design skills including a strong sense of leadership for your creative process and an attention to project deadlines & budget.
- Excellent design thinking skills; you can take something that is deficient or incomplete and turn it into something amazing. A basic understating of social media marketing preferred.
- Excellent working knowledge of Adobe’s Creative Suite and Microsoft Office applications.
