BOLD is seeking for Technical specialist who will be responsible for all aspects of Technical SEO implementation with a focus on maintaining site health and structure serving websites with 5000-100k pages. The position is to provide technical oversight in helping the websites build success for the organization.
ABOUT THIS TEAM
This position works within the global technical SEO team. This team directly manages the technical SEO across a portfolio of international websites. This includes identifying and addressing technical issues that could impact search engine performance, optimizing the website's architecture and URL structure, and improving user experience and mobile responsiveness. The team works closely with other teams within the organization, such as developers, designers, content creators, and marketing teams, to ensure that the website is optimized for search engines and meets the needs of users.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Review, strategize and optimize the web properties towards success in Google/Bing
- Conduct comprehensive site auditing and proactively identify on-page and technical SEO opportunities. Document recommended solutions and work with development teams to advise on implementation
- Delivery analysis and reporting to inform Strategy and Editorial teams
- Advise, collaborate with, and systematize feedback from internal teams, to push for technical SEO best practices
- Perform competitive analyses to identify opportunities in Technical SEO
- Assist with QA of technical SEO implementation
- Identify opportunities for improved performance such as site infrastructure, Sitespeed, Core-vitals, crawlability, on-page factors, and scalable content
- Manage and review link structuring, canonicalization, schema markup, cannibalization and core-vitals elements
- Monitor crawl/indexation and uncover and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Stay up to date on current SEO industry trends and technologies, and build out testing frameworks and methodologies for Technical SEO
- Document, and reporting of SEO KPIs to stakeholders
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Technical SEO experience (Website architecture, 301 redirects, Robots.txt best practices, Spam referral filtering, etc) – 3+ years
- Image optimization
- Understanding of DOM and Browser Rendering
- HTML, CSS, JS knowledge
- Experience with Core-vitals
- Experience with Schema JSON
- Strong experience with Google Tag Manager, Analytics, and Search Console such as setting up event tracking, filters, and segmenting data
- Experience with on-page optimization
- Intricate knowledge of organic best practices
- Strong proficiency with WordPress.
